makeup, Makeup Tips, Makeup Trends

Hey beauties!

Let’s talk about blushes today, one of our makeup essentials! Today I am sharing with you the perfect brush for (almost) every skin tone!!

This simple guide will help you to reach a more natural and matches perfectly with your skin tone!!

Fair Skin tone

If you have a fair skin tone the shades for you are from light pink to peach:

Medium Skin tone

From this skin tone a deeper pink, mauve or apricot are the best shades.

Dark Skin tone

A darker skin would require a deeper berry shade between fuchsia to brick red.

And, of course, if you love to use one of those blushes which “are not” for your skin tone you can keep wearing it, it’s not a rule, just a guide when you want to keep your blush more natural!

Share with us on the comments your favorite blush!

Makeup tips: how to get a flawless skin

Makeup Tips

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing with you some tips for the perfect foundation and flawless skin!

Image result for foundation

Step 1: Find your perfect color

It can be a little hard to find the perfect shade for your skin tone, a trick that makes everything easier is to apply a little the foundation on your jaw line, if it “disappear” you found the shade, don’t forget to let it dry before concluding that it’s the right shade, some foundations oxidizes and gets darker after drying. And you can ask for samples always when it’s possible so you can test foundations at home, and see how they work on your skin.

Step 2: Prepare your skin

For the perfect canvas, your skin needs to be prepared, believe me, it makes a difference. Make sure to clean your skin and apply moisturizer, don’t forget to wait at least five minutes before continuing with the makeup. And, if you have dry skin, this step will help your foundation to don’t flake or cake.

Step 3: Apply primer

Image result for apply primer

It’s a very important step if you want your skin to look flawless, primer can minimize the pores, mattify the face and make your foundation stay longer! But be careful, if you use too much primer, it can have the opposite effect, so use just the necessary!

Step 4: Blend it right

Blend your foundation from the center to the edges of your face, for just a lImage result for blend makeupittle coverage, use your fingers, I usually do it on my everyday makeup, because I want my skin to look as natural as possible (check out how I do my everyday makeup). If you want a little more coverage you should use a beauty sponge or a brush for that.

Step 5: Apply Concealer

To hide colored marks, redness, acne or dark circles you should use a colorful concealer. I made a post explaining how to use the colorful concealers (click here to read about it), but don’t forget to apply colorful concealer before the foundation!
For the skin color concealer you should apply before the foundation, the concealer doesn’t need to be lighter than your skin color, except if you want to use it for highlight your face.

Step 6: Finish with powder

Pick up the best powder for  your skin type, tap off the excess of the brush before applying the product, use a translucent powder or find the right shade.

Foolproof Cat eye Guide

Makeup Tips, Makeup tutorial

Hi everyone! Today I am going to share with you some tips that helped me to improve my cat-eye techniques. I hope this guide will help you too!!

Bildergebnis für cat eye tutorial

1. Draw a line at an angle

Lower your eyelid so you have a smooth service to draw on. Then draw a line from the outer corner of your eye up at an angle. Remember, the liner should continue the your natural eyeliner, so please, don’t finish and draw the wing before the corner of your eye (this is a big mistake!).

2. Create a triangle

Create a triangle shape by connecting the top of your flick down to your lash line

3. Fill in the triangle

For this step I prefer using liquid eyeliner.

4. Connect the triangle to your lash line

Draw a liner on the lash line, but remember that the liner should be thinner near your inner corner!

Some other tips:

  • If you’re a beginner use cream or gel eyeliners, they’re easier to work with.
  • If you don feel confident enough you can start by using black eye shadow instead the eyeliner.
  • Plant your elbow on a flat surface, it will make everything easier.
  • If you’re starting with liquid liner make dots first, then connect them.
  • Don’t pressure the eyeliner or brush against the skin.
  • The eyeliner size depends on your eye size.
  • Try to do it with your eyes opened.
  • To make the wing look sharp use a little foundation with a concealer brush to clean up.
  • Don’t forget to prime your lids.

I hope this tips are going to help you!

Hi everyone!

Today I bought some Essence products and I’m going to share my first impressions with you.

I bought some things from the Cubanita trend edition aviable just July and August 2017.

Cubanita Jumbo Highlighter

This is a golden highlighter with intense metallic shine, I already said on my Essence favorite posts that I really like their highlighters, and I absolutely loved this one! It gives you a sun-kissed glow and smells very good!!

Swatch:

Baking & Banana Powder

This packaging is very cute! It comes with a puff (I personally don’t like to apply powder with a puff, but it’s nice). I’m thinking about review this powder on my YouTube channel, if you would like to see it, please, let me know!

Cushion Eyebrow Ink

I am a little surprised with this product, it’s highly pigmented and lasts very long! There is just one shade aviable, it’s a “universal” shade.

The product is liquid, there is something like a wet sponge inside where you pick up the product.

Swatch:

I don’t have my real final thoughts about this product, I’m going to use one more time and I tell you about it the my video!

Wet Look Lip Lacquer

It’s aviable in two shades, this one is the shade 2 ¡Hola Guapa!

Very good pigmented and I love this shine effect on my lips!

Swatch:

It has a sweet smell, like orange candy 🍊

The other products purchased are not from this trend edition.

Volume Stylist Mascara

This is a curl mascara (my favorite) I already said that Essence has amazing mascaras and this one is not different, I love it!

I have VERY SHORT lashes, and I liked the effect of this mascara!
