The Color Wheel and Makeup – Concealer

The color wheel is a very important and helpful tool for makeup. With this wheel we can learn about which concealer we should use to cover dark circles, which eyeshadow matches with your eye color, and another things.

On this post I will talk about how the color wheel can help you to choose the perfect concealer to hide dark circles and marks on your face.

The Wheel

The wheel is divided into cool tones and warm tones.
So, how does it work?
First you have to analise your dark circles and marks and see which shades they are. They can be purple, brown, blue, green or red.
The right color of concealer to use is the opposite color (sounds complicated, I know).
To make it easier let’s see some pics.

IF YOU HAVE PURPLE DARK CIRCLES = USE YELLOW CONCEALER

WHY? Because yellow is the opposite color from purple.

IF YOU HAVE RED ACNE MARKS = USE GREEN CONCEALER

WHY? Because green is the opposite color from red.

Now you can use the color wheel to know which concealer you have to use:

The next post I we will see how to use the color wheel to know which eyeshadow shade matches better with you eyes colors.

If you have any questions please let me know!
